On September 24, 2021 ASEAN-China Education Exchange Week commenced at the permanent meeting site in Gui'an New Area, Guizhou Province. Miao Keyin, vice president of our college, was invited to attend the 2021 ASEAN-China International Forum on vocational education and the achievement exhibition of the characteristic cooperation projects, and accepted the ASEAN-China characteristic cooperation project of Higher Vocational Colleges awarded by the China Education Association for International Exchange.
This event was co-hosted by the China Education Association for International Exchange and the ASEAN-China Center, with the theme of the unity of knowledge and practice, building an educational vision of sustainable development cooperation. Liu Limin, President of CEAIE, Wang Yongli, Secretary-General of CEAIE, Chen Dehai, Secretary-General of ACC, Li Chun, an inspector from the Department of Vocational and Adult Education of the Ministry of Education, and other leaders attended the forum and delivered speeches.
At the forum and achievement exhibition, Miao Keyin shared with the attendees the China-Myanmar professionals training program of Chinese + navigation professional skills, and introduced in detail the main practices, problems, challenges and future prospects of the international maritime personnel training of our college from the aspects of project objectives, contents, main achievements, characteristics and experience, feedback of beneficiaries, etc, which was highly recognized and widely praised by the attendees. Miao keyin stressed that our college was willing to work with all partners to improve cooperation among the government, industries, enterprises and schools, to promote the development of the maritime vocational education, and jointly build a long-term mechanism for exchanges and cooperation of the vocational education in the post- epidemic era, so as to make contributions to the economic and social development of China and ASEAN.
